For me, part of living my authentic life is about the contact I have with others; my friends and those around me in my local community.
Since moving to the countryside and adopting a rescue dog, I have noticed how many more people I have something to talk about with. I have lived in numerous cities in different countries and I don´t think I have had as many opportunities on a daily basis to greet and even chat with my fellow beings. Heidi is a great ice-breaker!
Being real for me is being true and honest both with myself and others. Sometimes that takes more effort than might be first thought such as learning a new language or appreciating cultural differences. However, all without exception only enriches life further.
